Let's Make A Record

I'm looking to put together a mix-tape of sorts. I'm taking suggestions for GREAT songs that you think no one else has heard. Leave me the name of the song and artist in the comments. I will be creating a playlist on the main post as we go.

When we've got enough songs I'm going to upload the whole thing to one of those download sites that you can access for free. Get suggesting!

  2. David Bowie's Magic Dance from the Jim Henson's Labrynth? The movie that got me to learn how to do that thing that Bowie (performed by MIchael Moschen) does in the movie only I had to do it with pool balls?

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the others. E-mail them all to me. I wore my Labrynth Soundtrack tape out.

  3. Finding stuff most people haven't heard is gonna be tough. Let's see...things I'm listening to lately...

Magnetic Field's - Book of Love (that's if you want the original acoustic; the Peter Gabriel remake is prettier though.)

    The Strawbs - Bacarole

The Misfits - I Turned Into A Martian

  7. Well, since 99.9% of the music I listen to is stuff you've heard (cuz you sent it to me), I've only got one song you may not have heard: Tom McRae's beautifully mournful song "Language of Fools."

But I'm gonna go for the hidden bonus track. Since those are usually covers, I've got 3 ideas. All of them, and that Tom McRae song, can be heard here:
